Il y a des choses parfois qui vous laisse pensez que cela va se faire très rapidement. c’est notamment le cas pour l’installation de Sql Express ou vous vous dites que cela va se faire en un click et que cela va prendre 5 minutes. Sauf que la .. la machine qui est une vm tournant sur Windows 2016 Datacenter n’as pas accès à internet et que le programme d’installation demande expressément une connexion internet

et ce même si vous avez installé .net 4.6 sans .NT 3.5 Donc un petit tour sur les forums qui vous recommandent d’ajouter des clefs de registre mais sans succès même après un reboot.

Après il paraitrait qu’il faille télécharger une version spéciale du type . Media only. mais quand on se rend sur la page de téléchargement. aucune mention n’est faite pour télécharger cette version Média Only

Après avoir chercher pendant une heure sur le net. Pas vraiment de solution.. Donc .. Case Microsoft. En attendant leur rappel, J’ai trouvé au fin fond d’un article la possibilité d’installer une soit disant une version Offline ici https://download.microsoft.com/download/7/c/1/7c14e92e-bdcb-4f89-b7cf-93543e7112d1/SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe
Si le nom de l’exécutable laisse penser à une installation de SQL Express lors du lancement cela se transforme en Sql Serveur classique visiblement
